Particularly with senior professionals, interviews fall flat. What can you do instead?
If your interviews are falling flat, maybe you're the problem. I'm Jeff Altman, The Big Game Hunter and let me tell you what I see time and again. You're a veteran professional. You're out there interviewing. You've hired people before. You think you know what you're doing. You're boring. There's no enthusiasm or life to your manner. You've answered the same questions for years. You think you know how to do it. You've interviewed people for years. Evaluated their answers. You think you know how to do it. You're dull. You're boring. Where's the life to you? Where's the passion? Where's your enthusiasm? Where do you show that you care? Pretend it's opening night at the theater. The audience is only seeing the show for the first time. They want to hear your best. Make it like opening night every time. Hope you found this helpful. Go to Job Search TV on YouTube. There's a lot more there. Be great. Take care.
