Developing an employer brand can be as easy as having an online questionnaire for people who approach your firm. I’m not talking about the application; I’m talking about a questionnaire for them during the process or after the process that asks a few questions.

What was it that attracted you to our organization? Why was it that you were interested in contacting us to work for us? Now, if it was as simple as ‘I heard you had a job open,’ that’s not really what you’re going for. What you’re going for is texture.

People who actually communicate real reasons for why they want to join your firm. What was your experience like? Did they affirm those impressions, or did they distort those impressions? You’re going for data that’s going to help you with others.
