@Jeff Altman, The Big Game Hunter with your information I now have an option. A pest control company has been pulling me in for 2 interviews AND a ride along…which I did. The boss informs me that he’s very strict on calling out of work , but has no problem asking me to call out from work multiple times to do his interviews or field trips. He initially told me 22$ and hour then reworked the offer to 20$ per hour. Meanwhile , Amazon called me today and offered me a position. Everything was done over the phone/on line. Alls to do now is wait for DL and background check ,which I’ll be fine) then urine test (also fine). Gentlemen told me I’ll be in a training truck by next Friday. BUT, I now have the option of when/if pest control place calls me I can thank them and inform them I no longer want to be a candidate (respectfully) and if they really want me , he’ll up that hourly wage back to 22$. Thank you so much.
