Refining Your Resume

Don’t only rely on tools like Grammarly or Hemingway to avoid mistakes. Visually scan your resume from the end to the beginning rather than the beginning to the end. The reason is you have developed a habit of what you expect to see and may miss words that when incorrectly spelled would still get through a spellchecker.
For those who are not native writers or speakers of the country you are in, ask a native to review your resume, too. They will spot misuses of terms that may exist in your resume and help your writing by making it more appropriate for where you are living.
