Never Use These 3 Dirty Words in a Job Interview

There are 3 bad words you should never use in an interview. If you do, it is a big mistake

There are three dirty words in interviewing. Never use these words. All you’re doing is shooting yourself in the foot. The first one is ONLY. I’ve only done this, I’ve only done that. LIGHT. I have light experience with whatever it is. The third one is JUST. I’ve just done such and such.

I call them dirty words because what they do is, minimize what your knowledge is and what your experience is, with whatever it is they’re asking you about. Tell them exactly what you know and what you’ve done. If it’s good enough, great. If it isn’t, that’s okay too.

But those dirty words. . . All they basically say is I have no confidence in my ability to answer questions on this subject. Can we talk about something else?
