3 Words That Are Hurting You
By Jeff Altman, The Big Game Hunter
There are three words many people say mindlessly that are so damaging. I point them out and suggest an alternative.

I want to spend time regularly talking with you that some element of life, the universe, and everything. I believe people can do better. I want to help you perform at a higher level. Play big in the world. If you’re interested in my coaching, it’s really simple.![]()

So, with that, let me just start by saying the three words that I think kill the attitude for many of you. Three simple words show up so often in conversations. They have an insidious effect. They eat you up from the inside. They hurt you; they damaged you. They cause you to place smaller. You could do better; you can be bigger but you keep saying these words over and over again in conversations with friends, and with family. They seem mindless. They seem to be innocuous but, with time, they develop an attitude that suggests something . . . well, you’re not going all out.
What are the three words? Let me just simply tell you.
Take it easy.
Take it easy. Said so often as a parting comment to someone that you know ending a conversation, saying goodbye to someone. Take it easy.
Why? Why should someone take it easy? Why should they be encouraged to take it easy? Why should you suggest that this is a good thing for people to do?
Instead, if it really matters, it really matters to you how someone else feels, encourage them. Say, instead, “I hope you go all out all out.” Go all out. That’s the way to end conversations. That’s the way to encourage people to be elite performers and to be successful, not take it easy.
What does “take it easy” do for anyone?
“Oh, it makes me happy when I’m easy.”
Most of the time you bored with
What you want to be doing is going all out. You want to be performing better. You want to improve and “take it easy” isn’t going to do it for you. Instead, going all out will.
That’s today’s show. I hope you enjoy it. I’ll be back soon with more and, again, hope you have a great day. And if you’d like me to coaching you, email me at JeffAltman@TheBigGameHunter.us
Go all out.
