Hi! I'm Jeff Altman, The Big Game Hunter and here's a great question from someone
Why do online job applications need your work experience and a typed
out resume after you already uploaded a. PDF oh the horrors of all of this whoa
I'll just simply say the reason for it is really very simple. Number one is,
in terms of your uploaded a PDF and they want a resume,
well, their system may have had trouble parsing the PDF. We don't know
what kind of applicant tracking system they're using and the result is the
system may have had a problem with the. PDF now why they want you to complete an
application well an application is a legal document a resume is the
application usually will have some small print reference within it that says hey
you know if we find that post-employment or if we find that that in some way
you've lied in the application that's grounds for termination with a resume
that's your presentation of your background with an application you've
completed something and know that this could be grounds for dismissal that's
their protection there has nothing to do with your benefit but what they're
trying to do is protect themselves and thus the application legally in the at
least in the United States, let's then call into question any
inconsistencies in the background as you presented it I'm Jeff Hopp and hope you
found this helpful. Visit TheBigGameHunter.us. There's a lot
more there. If you've got a question, you can ask it at www.wisio.com/TheBigGameHunter
