Good morning. I'm Jeff Altman, The Big Game Hunter and I want to answer someone's
question today why is it at the end of an interview they ask if you have any
questions? Why do they do that? Is there something that they're looking for
to filter out less qualified applicants?" Here's what they're trying to
do they're trying to answer your questions because you've just spent the
half hour or an hour or some period of time answering all of theirs so they
want to ensure that you have an opportunity to answer questions now can
you be filtered out based upon your questions yes yes you can be because
some questions are so infantile, you know, so childlike that it's embarrassing. You
know, you may see like someone's eyebrows move but, fundamentally, if you ask a dumb
question now for most people they're going to ask about the job they're gonna
probe deeper. They may ask about benefits which really isn't ideal in the first
interview that's appropriate for later on especially in this day and age when
most firms have the same benefits from an insurance standpoint and then you can
find that online some of the preferred benefits that a firm has. But I'll
simply say is the intention to rule someone else no it's the intention to
answer your questions and he may rule yourself out hope you found this helpful
