What’s The One Thing You Should Say on Every Interview? | JobSearchTV.com
What are the magic words people should say on every interview that will get them hired?
I’m Jeff Altman, The Big Game Hunter. I’m a coach who helps people professionally in a number of different ways. And here. I’m back to answer a question from someone who wants to know, “what are the things one should say at every single interview? Now, I think there’s really only one thing you need to worry about saying because most of the rest of what you’ll hear is a lot of fluff from an employer’s perspective.
What they want to hear from you is how your experience fits what they need to have done. It’s really that simple. Now it’s not just what you say that matters but how you say it that also matters because when firms hire, they look for competence, self-confidence, character, chemistry, maybe a little charisma, all of which adds up to we trust them to do this role. They’ll fit in well; they’ll be an asset and we won’t have to worry about them.”
So, with that, that’s what they care about and thus from your standpoint what you need to do is connect the dots for them with the job description and using some of the techniques that I teach in coaching
By the way, you know if you want to get advice from me, if you have a quick question for me, what you can do is go to wisio.com, that’s wisio.com/TheBigGameHunter and I’ll answer questions from you there. It’s inexpensive. It’s a third . . . it’s less than a third of what I charge ,and my website. So, again, wisio.com/TheBigGameHunter and I’ll create a video for you that’s three to five minutes in length that will help you and answer your question.
