What Is Missing in Most Strategic Sourcing Strategies

In my opinion, what tends to be missing is a strategic approach beginning with an employer branding strategy that is consistent with a firm, its values, and business needs including staffing. A firm wants to become a magnet for business and talent otherwise it has to work too hard and in a rush to find people to support its business requirements. Hiring managers need to conduct themselves in ways that are congruent with the brand or risk losing talent quickly and evaporating any goodwill cultivated with the new employee while hiring.
