Is it a deal breaker that i signed an. NDA,
a non-disclosure agreement that's what an application
asked about i had so is this a deal breaker
I'm Jeff Altman, The Big Game Hunter. I'm a coach who helps people professionally
in a variety of different circumstances including with their job
search and I will just start by saying what is an NDA. It's a non-disclosure
agreement. Iit's an agreement that indicates that
you can't talk about or probably do anything related to that which you've
signed an agreement about. Why would a potential employer want to
know that? Answer: they want to ensure that they
don't put you in a situation where you're going to be working on
something that might violate it now they may choose not to interview you
or hire you because of the nature of the. NDA.
After all, you may be working on something or be
asked to work on something that directly would compromise the NDA or go
close to violating it and thus open them up to litigation
is it a guarantee that they're not going to talk with you
no is it a guarantee that they won't hire you
no but they're going to be cautious and they're going to ask you
lots of questions about the NDA in order to make sure
that it wouldn't cause a headache for them if they did hire you
i'm Jeff Altman. I hope you found this helpful. My website is
