Thus, a person walks in. They start their new position, and they discover the truth about the environment, how hard it is to get things done, how difficult some of the people are, why it is the last four people who sat at that particular desk left to go to other organizations.
Institutional friction and withholding that from people may get you short-term hires, but they’re not going to be long-term employees because you’ve lost. You’ve lost their trust.
