Is it possible for a man in California to marry his widow’s sister?
The answer is, “No.” He’s dead! Remember, it’s his widow’s sister.
A farmer has 17 sheep and all but nine die. How many are left?
Nine.
How many two-cent stamps are there in a dozen?
Twelve.
If a doctor gives you three pills, telling you to take one every half hour, how many minutes will pass from taking the first pill to the last pill? That one’s a little deceptive but the answer is 60 minutes because you take one now, take one in 30 minutes. Take one at the end of an hour
Two US coins add up to 30 cents. If one of them is not a nickel, what are the two coins?
The answer is a quarter and a nickel. and I know when I thought about it for a second, i said they couldn’t be doing this one and the answer is. Yes, if one of them isn’t a nickel that means the other one can be a nickel. This one could be a quarter.
