I like your point here don’t necessarily disagree, but would add that I think it can be overcome in a different way. I’m about to graduate and have a low GPA (below 2.75) and have have so far landed about twice as many interviews with big companies (the field I’m in has such long recruiting pipelines that everyone’s currently interviewing so we don’t know who will get offers yet) compared to my friends with better grades by really hustling to find opportunities on the way in school (ie applying to 2-3 times as many internships, really working on resume/cover letter, watching videos like yours to learn how to interview better) and trying to get interviews based on experience and additional factors. I picked up a double major in an unrelated but useful field and took multiple graduate-level courses on top of my regular courseload so I could better explain a low GPA and built a portfolio of computer programs I wrote despite studying a non-technology engineering field. I’d just look at it as “no one will hire me because of my GPA, so I need to give them another reason why I’m a better candidate than someone with a 4.0”. Just my two cents. I really like your channel though, it’s helped a lot please keep up the good work

Hey, thanks for writing. There are exceptions to most rules and, as I said, it will be “Harder” and a person will get a job. I’m glad my channel is helping you. Have you see the playlist for recent graduates?
