Big Company Person Interviewing at a Small Company?
Google recently released a mock interview service for free. And it’s geared toward a number of different different disciplines–project management, IT support, user experience design, data analytics, and E commerce. And when you go to the site, and I’ll have a link to it in the show notes, what they demonstrate are pretty standard questions that you’ll be asked to answer. It’s an audio recording that they transcribe, edit it and that’s the cumbersome part of this.
The fact that this is audio, it’s machine learning. And it’s trying to get a flavor for you and your knowledge and experience. And you’re going to have to edit it. That’s the cumbersome part of it. And it’s free. And the sample questions that they demonstrate online are ones that are pretty generic. And I’m sure there are deeper questions, but it gives you a place where you can practice, try to get better, so that this way, when you get to real interviews, you’re comfortable.
Again, I’ll have a link to it in the show notes, and go experiment. It’s cheaper than I am, quite obviously.
