One way to build your employer brand is to make everyone who anyone interviews, desperate to want to work for you. Sell to them, make them fall in love,
smile, laugh and joke with them, evaluate and assess them, of course, but leave them in the position where they want to work for you.
Why is this important? Even if you reject them, they become a walking salesforce for you. ‘Oh, man, I really want to get that job. They look fabulous, but I just wasn’t strong enough for them.’ And that allows people to hear about it, to share their experiences, to make them understand that your organization should be an employer of choice.
