Much of the talent you are trying to attract aren’t on job boards or applying through LinkedIn.
Employer Branding: Do You Know Why They Contact You?
If you want to be attracting talent to your organization, and if you think posting job ads on job boards or LinkedIn is the perfect way to do it, you’re obviously wrong because you’re not attracting the people that you want to be attracting.
A better strategy is to look at social media from through different lenses. How are you creating your brand on TikTok, or reels or stories, which is where a younger demographic that you’re trying to attract lives?
If you think post and pray is the best way to go, keep doing it. But think strategically. Over the course of time, your demographic is there, they’re watching your videos. They’re learning about you. And if you do it right, they’re going to be interested in contacting you for opportunities. Don’t do post and pray anymore.
