Do Not Leave Money on the Table!

Congratulations.
You’re scheduled to start your new job in two or three weeks.
Don’t leave money on the table.
Before you give your notice, ask your new employer about your eligibility for a partial bonus this year (this assumes you are joining at some point after the beginning of the fiscal or calendar year).
AND
Ask your former employer for a partial bonus that covers your contribution during the time you’ve been with them this year.
They may turn you down . . . And maybe they won’t.
