help people in the world that work let me just so if I say excuse the fact this
isn't my normal camera we had a technical issue
it isn't resolved yet I hope to have a result back tomorrow the question I
received from someone is are full-time jobs more immune to job cuts than
contractors?" Now I have to say it depends on the set of situations. Now, under
normal situations where we're dealing with a normal work environment,
usually contractors are brought on to accomplish something in particular and
thus when that thing is accomplished they're out the door is that a job cut I
don't think so but you may think so.. So I wanted to address that one right
away. However when times are recessionary, in recessionary times, sometimes being a
contractor is a better position because the senior management wants to look
tough to the board in to the public so they cut employees because they can say
hey look we cut headcount by eight percent and then they have contractors
there to do the work because it's a different budget line. The third set of situations
is when we're dealing with an economic crisis like in 2008 or in 2020 with
coronavirus where, suddenly, we're dealing with the end of the world. No one is
immune under those circumstances contractor or full-time so is it better
to be an employee if you like more stability there's no stability of being
a full-time employee some of you will use the tub permanent employee but you
should know by now that's those lies employers tell people you're
really full-time permanent means forever trust me you're not there forever hope
