What Recruiters Know That You Don’t: They Aren’t Watching All Those Screening Videos
One thing recruiters will know that most people don’t is they love seeing resumes from well-known branded companies. Why? Because their clients do.
Their clients believe that the selection process starts with your previous selection. Were you chosen by a great firm or a firm with a great reputation, or by some no-name firm? And then they judge you on the basis of the no-name firm and they’re less interested in choosing you.
So the long and the short of it is, if you have a choice between a company with a name and one without, think twice., I’m not telling you to go to the brand firm because the job may be crap. But think twice and look carefully at your choice because it’s not always about the money. Now, sometimes it’s about the money later on.
