The Price | Career Angles

Although we may often use the dodge of “your price is too high,” in order to avoid a purchase, even when lowered, we are not usually ready to make the purchase.

Why?

Unless we have a competing quote to point to, usually, it is because we are not enthusiastic buyers (or certainly not as enthusiastic as the seller is to selling us).

Remember that is you are a sales person, your buyer has competing motivations. After all, making a mistake causes a great calamity whereas making the right decision gets no attention.

Remember, at times, they are more fearful of making a bad purchasing decision than trying to make a great one.
