I'm Jeff Altman, The Big Game Hunter. I’m the head coach for and welcome to Job Search Radio.

I like to do shows regularly because I believe job hunting doesn't have to be hard, difficult, painful or take as long as it does for most of you. There is just a different skill set to finding a job than doing a job. And what I try to do is release videos regularly. They wind up on Job Search Radio through and in iTunes. It's a great little service that will help you with more information to help you find work.

By the way, if you would like to connect with me on LinkedIn, send a connection request to me If you're interested my coaching you, visit my website, which is www, There are tabs on the top that you can look at which will give information about my firm and its services, plus a great blog. So, again, that's

Now, let’s get going okay?

I thought I would do a show about the one job board most of you are probably not using and it is the 1 you should get into the habit of using because it's going to become enormous. And if you're a recruiter, corporate or third-party, it's free and has access to so many people . .. And, no, I'm not talking about LinkedIn. No, I am not talking about the legacy job boards that I know I grew up with and many of you still use.

The job board than referring to is . . Can you guess. Facebook.

Facebook has a job board associate with it. Its free to post to. The way you find it is in 1 of 2 ways . . . is the desktop version of if you are on your mobile phone, you know the 3 lines on the bottom that's nicknamed “the hamburger?” Click on that. You will open up a series of choices and then scroll down. You will see the word, “Jobs.” Click on that and it will bring you to the jobs area.

There are jobs galore. It will recognize where you are through your IP address. You don't have to enter a location field. You can tighten the search by function and a variety of other things that will allow it to return jobs that might be of service to you.

Again, on the desktop. Or open the Facebook app, click the hamburger the lower right, scroll down to jobs and you will be able to find it there. So don't neglect it. There are people posting there that don't spend money on job postings because LinkedIn is expensive and the legacy job boards are as well, but Facebook is free and has access to and enormous population.

So that’s today’s show. I hope you found this helpful and if you did click on “the like button.” Give it 5 stars in iTunes or stitcher. Subscribe to the channel on YouTube if that's where you are watching it because in that way you get notices whenever I release a new video. Again, on YouTube, click the subscribe button, give it a thumbs up on Facebook, click the like button. I hope you found this helpful and hope you have a great day. Take care
