Stop With the Fake Backgrounds

Why are you still using fake backgrounds on Zoom and elsewhere?
Preparing for a Video Interview
If you’re doing a video interview, get rid of the phony Zoom backgrounds, get rid of the phony Teams backgrounds. Most of the time, they just look like crap, even when they don’t, when you move your head, often you don’t have the right horsepower on your computer, and the result winds up being this moving white stuff.
In addition, sometimes, as I saw happen this week with someone, they had a microphone, great setup, pop filter, great setup. But when they had the background on, what would happen is the microphone with the pop filter would kind of get blocked out part of their shoulder. So the result of that being yes, they had the Team’s background. However, part of their shoulder was missing. They didn’t know it.
Stop with phony backgrounds. They don’t work. Have something natural. Not too busy. Keep it simple. There’s a lot more in the blog at TheBigGameHunter.us
