Personal Branding: What Makes You Different?
As I record this in 2023, one thing is pretty obvious. AI and prompt engineering are becoming increasingly important for so many different things. I’m Jeff Altman, The Big Game Hunter. People hire me for no BS coaching and career advice globally, because I make things so much easier for people.
And I’ve got to tell you, for those of you in so many different fields, learning how to use generative AI, as part of your work, can really help you a lot, not just simply in terms of work execution, which is obvious, but it can also help you stand out from others at work, and differentiate yourself, and maybe save at a job, save your career, advance you because you know how to use this technology better than most.
How do you learn it? Well, if you’re on LinkedIn, I’m sure there are prompt engineering classes that start off in LinkedIn Learning and work with the basic ones.
First, start practicing in ways that affect your work based upon what you learn, and expand your knowledge base. Take courses online, look for YouTube videos, there’s a lot of ways that you can become more experienced with this so that, frankly, as the technology becomes more advanced, you can become the expert in your firm on how to do prompt engineering related to the function you perform.
So don’t waste time with this. Now is the time to get immersed in it. Whether it’s going to be ChatGPT, AutoGPT or something else, you can start building the underpinnings for the rest of your career by taking the time now.
