No BS Career Advice: September 15, 2024

I’m experimenting with when I release No BS Career Advice to see whether a Sunday date offers more of you a chance to read it than a Wednesday date.
One request I want to make is to share it in your feed in your message to help others.
Right now is an important time of year to reconnect with senior leaders you know.
Why?
Companies that operate on a calendar year basis are finalizing 2025 budgets in October. I know of many instances where someone is written into the budget as employees, or as consultants until the end of the year, and then converted to staff in the new calendar year.
A quick, “Hi! How are you,” call, email or text can lead to your next job.
