Let me say something to you that is very simple and I hope will be very helpful.
A lifetime is not a long time. We like to think of ourselves as immortal, but life is a way of showing us how foolish we really are.
How do you want to live between now and that inevitable conclusion to your life?
Because people wander through life with purposelessness. Then, they come upon the end of their life and ask themselves, “Is this all there is?”
For you as a job hunter, stop fooling around. It is time to start getting down to work. It’s time to take it seriously and confront the fears that you have about talking to absolute strangers. Confront all the things that you do to procrastinate. That’s because, at the end of the day, you’re either going to have a life that you’re proud of or not. I will have to do with you.
Yes, there is bias out there, but a lot is going to have to do with you.
You want to always be blaming people, or would you rather take charge of things?
Personally, I may not have done more than create a few hundred videos that wind up in the trashcan of life. I tried to do some things to help people. I encourage you to do the same thing.
Do your best. Find inspiration in the people around you and the things that you read.
Stop wasting time. Take it seriously.
At the end of your life, like I said, you are only going to have yourself look back on and the choices that you’ve made and the consequences of those choices
