Kevin Turner is a fabulous resource for LinkedIn information. Here he shares a new feature for job alerts.
🔔 Create job alert] for a target Company is now featured on a Company’s page on the Jobs tab.
So you are on your target Company’s page with the Jobs tab open, and here are the two steps to set up your Job alert:
➀ Click the (Create job alert) button
➁ On the Pop-up, complete the *Required Fields and click (Create job alert)
*Required Fields may include but may also vary by Company:
Job Title, Job Location, and green highlighted Workplace options including On-site, Hybrid, & Remote, which you may click to deselect all that do not apply.
Once the complete the job alert:
➂ New Pop-up lets you know that Job alert was created and that you can manage your alerts
➃ If you Click (Manage job alerts) you will be sent to all you Job Alerts on the main Jobs tab
⫸ You may set up multiple Job alerts per Company based on variations of Job Title & Locations
TIP: be sure to use the Job Titles and Locations your target Company uses in their Job Postings
⫸ You will be notified of your Company Job alerts via email & Notification you’ll be notified of new jobs that match your skills and Job alerts through email & the 🔔 Notifications tab
⫸ Setting a Job alert for a Company notifies that Company’s Recruiters of your interest and highlights your profile in their search results in Talent Solutions
⫸ Previously, and now alternatively, you would (+Follow) a Company, then go to the main Jobs tab, and Create an individual Job alert for that company.
BONUS: (+Follow)ing a Company is also highlighted in Recruiter Search Results of Talent Solutions. When a Recruiter see that you are following their company, that may make you more attractive to them, than a similar candidate that doesn’t follow their company.
