How to Get More Interviews: Submit a Video with Your Resume

One way to stand out as a job hunter is with video. Here’s one way to use it.
If you’re someone who appears confident on camera, one way to get more interviews is by recording a video and including it with your resume and cover letter. There’s a Chrome extension called Drift video –completely free– that you can record short videos with.
Attach them because they give you a link for it to your resume and submit it with a resume. You can also have this on your blog. A lot of different ways to use this. But the idea is, in addition to the resume and cover letter, you have a short video that speaks for your specific qualifications for this job. It complements your LinkedIn profile, it complements your resume. It does an additional sales job. And the people who don’t like it, you’re not going to want to work for them anyway.
