Preparing for Video Interviews

Finding help with work from home jobs, or remote jobs is an important part of finding one. I’ve done previous videos that I’ll have links to in the show notes for this video. And I want to add a few more today that I think will be helpful to you.

Now, the first one is We Work Remotely. I don’t believe I’ve covered this one in previous posts, but it has a list of part time and full time positions that basically they offer monthly. And the categories include programming, design, copywriting, business management, marketing, and others. Jobspresso is number two. You know, it has listings from firms globally. Again, marketing, web development, customer service, writing systems administration and project management. Number three is Skip the Drive. If you want to leave your job, this site has endorsed positions in consulting, nursing, account management and several others. Remote OK, this is a job board specifically for anyone with a background in programming and design and it has a few others that are non technical as well.

Virtual Vocations It charges a monthly membership fee like another site that I mentioned in a previous video. And again, take a look at what’s available to you. If you join, you can upload your resume, save it and a cover letter online and track your application history. Crossover. It is geared toward skilled remote worker looking for full time, higher paying roles and connects companies with remote workers and 98 countries. It includes software development, finance, executive management, marketing and sales. Most of the job listings have six figure salaries.

Working Nomads. If you want to work from an exotic location, maybe you’re looking for the cheapest places for a digital nomad. And that’s what this site focuses on. Thus, for the new telecommuter who can work from anywhere in the world, you get an email subscription. And if you want these if you want these opportunities delivered to your inbox, Hubstaff Talent, let me repeat that HubStaff Talent. Hubstaff is one word. It is a remote job marketplace with 1000s of postings. You can sort them by skill, job tight pay rate, experienced level, and others.

Idealist. It doesn’t necessarily cater to remote jobs. But it does have a remote results only filter so you can find remote positions. Remote Bliss, again, it’s a searchable database of postings. It also offers resume coaching and a Slack community to their network of members.

Upwork. Fiverr. Freelancer This is geared toward people who are going to be doing gig work rather than necessarily a full time position. if you indeed do remote work, they have a question and answer approach that is helpful for telecommuters. JustRemote. It’s a job board for helping you fine tune your remote resume. It gives you templates as well. Pangian does a global approach to finding remote work and connects you with paid positions no matter where in the world you are, or plan to live.

Power to Fly. And we have one more after this.  Power to Fly focuses on women, finding remote and on site jobs at emerging companies and thus is different than other communities that they have.

Remotiv is the last one and it connects remote workers to companies for a fee. There’s a $49 annual or a $75 lifetime subscription. And it also provides community These are additional places to the others that I’ve mentioned in previous videos. I’ll have links to them in the show notes.
