One of the mistakes firms make with their employer branding (other than not having an employer brand) is they try to present themselves as being a great place for everyone to work. And that isn’t true.
Usually, firms are great for certain types of personalities, certain types of experiences, certain types of attitudes, and the others don’t thrive there. When I did recruiting, I would tell the people I was speaking with about the worst things about my client, about how hard it was to work there, how people could wash out if they didn’t like such and such. And that scared people off which was great. They had no business working for my client. Same needs to be true of you, too.
You need to tell people what makes people succeed and what makes them fail, because otherwise, you’ll have a lot of turnover. There’s a lot more at TheBigGameHunter.us in the blog,
