One way to build your employer brand is by investing in video. It can be videos about job openings, where you interview the hiring managers about their positions, where they talk about opportunities that are consistent with the values of the firm.
It can’t just simply be I want I want I need I need. It has to be talking about what it’s like working there. You’ve seen this stuff before. It really does have an effect on people. And doing it over time is really the key.
It’s not a one-time event. It has to be part of an overall strategy that shares the values of your firm & shares what it’s really like working there. It doesn’t mean you don’t have turnover. Obviously, you do. People recruit your people,. They pay them more. That’s a good thing. But start working video into the equation. YouTube and LinkedIn are great distribution channels, and sometimes it’s Tiktok.
