The way most people give elevator pitches, they are the most ridiculous, formal, rigid presentations anyone could give. They're disinteresting, they're boring, they're obnoxious.

Talk to people like human beings. If you're asked what do you do, tell them what you do and the outcome that you get, the results that you get. Talk to them like a human being. Make a human connection with them. Don't just simply do one of those formal rigid things. Ditch that kind of a pitch. Instead, prepare yourself for a typical conversation that you might have that would last a short period of time and answer what you do.
