Crisis and Opportunity | Career Angles

As you may know, I’m a member of the Forbes Coaches Council, an elite group of coaches in different fields.

They sent an email to us I thought I would share with you.

The Chinese use the SAME word to describe the concepts of crisis and opportunity.

A powerful example of this is Lin Qingxuan, a company forced to close 40% of its stores — including all of its locations in Wuhan.

However, they saw an opportunity and redeployed more than 100 beauty advisors from those stores to become online influencers to drive online sales.

As a result, their sales in Wuhan achieved 200% growth compared to the prior year.

Remember, there are always two sides to every coin.

In times like this, you have to be RESOURCEFUL and ADAPT to meet your market where they are.

Focus 100% of your attention on finding the opportunity.

It’s there.

We’re not playing the same game anymore — we’ve stepped into the big leagues where only the most strategic will come out ahead.

What other people are hiding, can you find the opportunity?
