“If it’s on the Internet, it must be true,” is a punchline that allows us to laugh at someone’s mistake in believing a meme or some other ridiculousness.

However, if it’s in a report or an email, often, it isn’t challenged even though it is a person’s interpretation rather than factual.

Interpretations are not facts.

Conclusions require that you walk back through the decision that led to the conclusion and clarify points and confirm the assumptions that went into the decision and recommendation.
