Why Recruiters Don't Tell You Who Their Client Is

By Jeff Altman, The Big Game Hunter Many people think a recruiter who doesn't share their client's name in a first call is sleazy or doing something wrong. I understand why a recruiter might not share the name of a client. Having lost two fees because people got off a call with me and applied directly, I stopped sharing my client names, instead using vague descriptions for them.
