Hiring managers have signs that they might be interested in hiring you. These don’t guarantee it however they signal interest.
5 Things to Consider Before Signing a Severance Agreement
Here are four ways to know that they’re interested in hiring you. The first is, you get an impromptu introduction to some senior person or leader or executive in the firm, just out of the blue. Next, they start doing all the talking. The more they talk, the more they like you, and they’re talking because they’re selling to you.
Third, they ask questions about the timing of when you can start and other interviews you have going on. They want to know if they’ve got competition and if there are any surprises about start date. Fourth, they asked for references, of course. Now, there’s no guarantee here, but clearly they’re interested in you, and maybe you’re going to still be competing with someone else.
