✰ [Service provider matches] will be made available to Premium Business users only, who are part of the Service providers program, starting May 13, 2024.
[Service provider matches] allows Members to optionally send their Request for services proposals to additional similar service providers when they contact a service provider. Requests are matched with providers based on service category, location (if applicable), and language.
You can respond to requests that you receive from your storefront admin view. If the client’s request has already received 10 responses, you won’t be able to respond to the request.
To participate you must turn on Service provider matches through the Edit module of your Service Page, and select the toggle On for (❍ Get more project requests) starting May 13, 2024
- Go to your Service Page admin view.
- Click the Edit pagebutton.
- Below Premium settings, turn on the Get more project requests toggle.
Turning On (❍ Get more project requests) doesn’t guarantee that you’ll receive additional requests. Your setting might be defaulted to On already, and can be turned off at any time.
Premium Business Service provider features are:

When you open your mobile app, while in your Feed you may see a black guide pop-up box that says ( Access your Saved posts here x ) that guides you to tap the Me icon (that small picture of you in the top left corner), a slide in Profile manger menu will appear, when it does, tap Saved posts [NEW]
Both the ( black guide pop-up x ) pop-up and [NEW] labels are a couple of the ways that [in] is trying to guide us to new features or changes.

✰ [Shake for feedback] has been added to the mobile app to allow Members to provide the Product groups direct Feedbackwhile using the product.
[Shake for feedback] based on Shaky, an open-source Android & iOS library that makes it easy for users to send feedback by shaking their device. It provides a customizable feedback form that allows users to enter a feedback description, select a feedback category, attach an image, and mark something on the picture using the editing tool. When a Member shakes their device, this feature will automatically capture relevant app information, including a screenshot, a log, and the most recent pages the user visited.

Mid March we were able to capture it during a Zoom with Loren (Executive Career Strategist) Greiff group but were not able to get video on Cindy McKissock phone. We attempted again a week later with the UpLift Liveaudience but no luck. Until now, it had evaded our Capture in the Wild, then Cindy was able to duplicate it again, this time in the Sales Navigator mobile app and captured it on video.
Here’s the steps:

Initiate Feedback app:

► Click either (Cancel) or (Yes)

This is part of (Allow Page owners to export data) and is related to their organizations’ LinkedIn Pages using the Pages Data Portability API that we covered last month on 03.11.2024. This access to your data includes Page admins and their authorized third-party developers.
This pop-up appears to be new, to encourage giving permission to this data transfer. If this pop-up appears for me, I will keep mine on the default (Don’t allow) until I know exactly what was collected, who has access to it, and how do they use and protect it.
⚠️ CAUTION: This setting is supposed to be turned Off by default. I just checked my Settings and for me, this option wasn’t defaulted to Off, it was turned On. I know I didn’t select that option, so I toggled it Off until there is more transparency into what and how it is used and secured.
So I highly recommend to everyone, do not trust the default statement of this option being set to Off. Go and review this setting, then decide what is right for you. Here’s the steps to review it and a GIF for my visually wired fam:

▲ [Daily] AKA the Video Tab, believe it or not has been rolling out since January, available on the iOS mobile app only, and you’ll find the entry point on the bottom navigation bar next to the home tab. (If you’re not seeing it, update your iOS app for the latest version!).
Post [+] icon has been moved to the top of the screen, just to the right of the Search box.
This week began a broader BETA test based on viewing and using the Video tab rolled out and many others with iPhones are seeing the options. The Beta Testers can’t upload video’s directly, but can post a verticle video, like all members can, and then email the community/product team lead, via an email provided to the testers, to get it reviewed for possible inclusion on the tab.
First to post on the mass appearance of the Tab was Dan Roth on Tuesday. What is cool about this Tab is it is native video driven, meaning no 3rd party app is required. Perhaps a forbearer of things to come for live video.

When [In] obfuscated the majority of our Public profiles it caused Internet Search Engines not to have a reliable source to index (a situation created to limit X-Ray searches and force more value into investing into Recruiter and Sales Navigator).
This work around is based on using the Top Volunteer position as your Search Engine Indexing statement. It can take over 30 days to Index, unless you turn you Public profile off and then back on again, wich puts you on the index list.

Once you set your [Preferences], LinkedIn will highlight them in green on every job details page so you can quickly determine if it aligns with your ideals.

Last month, 12.27.2023, I exposed that our [Experience] sections were being blurred out, so search engines couldn’t index them.
It’s likely, this is by design, and a push to make more money. By blocking this info from being indexed by Search engines, it forces more people to have to buy into Recruiter and Sales Navigator to find the right people. No more X-Ray searches from the outside to find the right people.
