What’s the reason you’re having trouble finding a job? There’s one big one I can think of.

Summary

Hi! I'm Jeff Altman, God Big Game Hunter. , I coach people and organizations to play BIG! That can be in job search, in your career, running your organization.. I just want to help you become bigger.

I've done videos about how to diagnose job search problems but I'm just going to ask you a question. "Why do you think you're having a problem? What's the issue that standing between you and finding that next position?"

Before you go, "No, jobs," there are jobs. A lot of firms are hiring and a lot of companies can't find people.

"They are bigoted. They don't like people like me." Older workers are getting tired; younger workers are getting hired. Minority workers are getting hired. A lot of people are getting hired, but why are you getting hired? I have a few ideas going to pose the question because I would rather have you figured out for yourself and not just simply rely on my answer which I get to in the second.

Think about it.All these people from similar groups to you are getting jobs. People in your line of work getting jobs. People in your city in your line of work are getting jobs. People of your race, age, national origin, visa status . . . All these people getting jobs. Why aren't you? What's the problem?

The answer, most of the time, I will let you learn the secret . . . You. You are the problem.

You are the issue to getting a job because you're not doing what you need to do even though you think you are, but you taking the lazy way out. Let me give you a few examples.

Your resume isn't getting results that you keep sending it out over and over again to every freaking job that you see online and you're wondering why you are not getting results. What that you tell your resume? What you have so professionally write the resume?

"Oh! It's so expensive that some will write my resume for me." It is not that expensive AND you are not getting results! Think about it. It's more expensive not to have it done that did just do it because you are just not getting results. That's number 1.

"I am not getting interviews. There are no jobs for someone like me." Well, there are jobs for people like you. You have to start digging deeper and you have to stop on the looking online, you have to get out and about talking to people and doing networking. Networking to people who you don't know today who can help you in the future.

"No one is calling me from LinkedIn." Well, it is your profile. Your profile sticks. Fix-it. Hire someone to fix it for you. Hire someone to critique it for you and let you know what the problem is.

I can keep going on and on but I'll just simply say, if you visit JobSearchCoachingHQ.com, that is a site where you are going to get coaching from me, not just simply videos and podcasts, and articles. All, my books are there. That's available as part of your membership. In addition, you will get one-on-one advice from me, short calls where we can work on situations that you have to deal with. Longer coaching calls or discounted. NOTE: it is now $ 49.99 to join. You get $25 off a coaching session with me. This is wonderful!

Instead of just hitting your head against the wall and missing out on opportunities that you could be getting, you are the problem. You are the issue in this because you are unwilling to change. You just want to keep doing it over and over again in the exact same way . . . And it is not working and you are expecting a different result! How smart are you?

I don't care with academic progress you have or don't have. You are not acting smart. And, in all probability, it is feeling hard. It feels like another job that is undesirable. Let me help fix this for you.

Visit JobSearchCoachingHQ.com. Sign up and become a member. I will help you. It is really that simple. I will help you.
