What is the hiring manager really looking for when they're interviewing you? Competence is only one thing. Self-confidence, character, chemistry, maybe a little bit of charisma, because charismatic people always do better than non charismatics as a fact of life. Ultimately, what they're trying to find out from you is whether they can trust you. That's a feeling that you give them. That's through your behavior. It's how you communicate.
