I don’t care if you think your job is permanent. It isn’t. Permanent employment is a lie to give you the impression that you have a job for life.
You don’t.
Your job may be “full time” but it certainly isn’t permanent.
If you started to think of your work as being like a contractor, what would you do to market yourself?
Improve?
Make yourself more valuable?
Own your career and don’t abdicate responsibility to an employer.
