Waiting till January

By Jeff Altman, The Big Game Hunter

I listened to a podcast interviewed the Newt Gingrich did with Stephen Hunter, the author of 20 novels and several New York Times bestsellers.

The interview was pretty typical with many questions about the characters in the novels, how he came up with the ideas for the plot lines within them and other standard questions.

At one point, Gingrich, remarking that a book if he also was releasing in January says something simple:

“I can’t wait till January!”

Obviously, he was talking about the release of the book.

But what struck me is how many people put off until January something that they could do today, some experience that they can have today for some later date.

January often becomes March and March often becomes October and then another year and then another year after that.

What do you do today and not wait until January?
