I’ve been looking for interesting AI tools to help with job search. I was pointed to Interviews.AI in a Reddit post, checked it out and am sharing my opinion.
Use AI to Warmup for Your Next Technical Interview
I’m Jeff Altman, The Big Game Hunter. People hire me for no BS job search coaching and career advice globally because I make finding work and succeeding at it much easier. I’ve started to look for AI based tools to help people find work. And I found this one tool called interviewsby.ai. And what it does is, it’ll take a job description, and generate questions from it that will help you practice and get feedback on your answer.
Now, I make nothing from talking about them. There’s no affiliate program, I don’t make anything. And I thought it was curious because they’ve got some pre-programmed things. So for example, if you’re a data analyst, they have pre-program questions available for you. If you’re a business analyst, a product manager, a software engineer, a marketing specialist, a QA engineer, there’s a bunch of them, it looks like 10, pre-programed categories. And they’ll automatically generate questions.
But there’s a search box there. And you can copy and paste a job description and what will happen is it’ll generate questions now. I tried this for a business development role. And it offered the question of “ell me about your experience in conducting market research to identify new leads and potential customers.” It recorded my answer, which I’m not going to read back to you. But it gave me feedback that basically said, “Your response provided a good overview of your experience and conducting market research to identify new leads and potential customers. It was great to hear that you used AI to identify the top legal firms in the New York area as a team to help with the research.”
“One suggestion would be to provide more specific examples of the strategies and tactics you used to reach out to this work.” And that was absolutely correct. And then it offered a sample answer that it thought might be more effective. For many of you, this is going to be a useful tool. It’s kind of a free version right now. I’m not aware of a paid model. I haven’t dug into that deeply . . . into the the payment approach to it.
But clearly they’ve got free information available to you at interviewsby.ai. Let me repeat that interviewsby.ai.
