A farmer’s horse runs away and he is able to maintain a balanced mind as events unfold.

Easier

There’s a story about a Chinese farmer 200 years ago, whose horse runs away. His neighbors come over to visit and say “how unfortunate.” “Maybe,” he says.

And the horse returns with seven wild horses. And the neighbors come over and say “How fortunate,” and he says, “Maybe”.

And the next day, his son tries to break one of the wild horses and is thrown and breaks his arm. “Oh, how unfortunate.” “Maybe“.

And the next day, the military comes to conscript young men, and they see his son and they don’t accept him. “How unfortunate“. “Maybe“.

Folks, we never know what’s going to happen. Be patient with events, and we’ll see how things sort themselves out.
