I was scheduled to meet with someone and when I got there, I discovered the meeting was not what I was told it was. It was something that I wasn’t interested in I left
I was listening to a podcast where the host offered a free PDF. When I went to their website, free became having to listen to a long sales pitch and the opportunity to join the 1-year membership site. I exited and will listen to the podcast but never click to anything they speak about.
It’s sad when people don’t have enough confidence to say what they intend and feel compelled to lie or hide.
It’s like robo callers. We don’t even answer our phones any more.
There are people who will try to take advantage of you professionally (and personally). Your instincts will tell you to get the hell out of there.
Follow your instincts.
It’s sad when people think trickery and manipulation are the only ways to get what they want. I know, professionally, how often I ran into that.
