How should you create the best resume to be hired by even the most demanding companies?
Is it possible for potential employers to find out about jobs I’ve had in the past that I didn’t list on my resume? The recruiter said the employer would do a search of 10 years in the past and find out and if I’d lie they drop my application.
Why have employers started contacting job applicants by text message? Why don’t they say who they represent in the text messages?
A week ago, I had an interview for an internship. During the interview they asked me “if my phone number is still available” and the interviewer also said, “I will check in with administration about your visa status”. Are these good signs?
In an interview, can I mention that I want to change because the company is burning us and it’s worst on a monthly basis? No other reason behind it.
Is it illegal for a former employer to talk bad about you to future employers to prevent you from finding a new job after leaving the job (whether quitting or termination)?
Is it a good sign if they ask for references after an interview?
Can an employer legally deny a vacation that was planned before they hired you?
Should people hire based on passion over experience?
My programmers don’t like working more than 40 hours a week. Is this the norm in software development or should I be looking to hire harder working individuals?
