With unemployment at record lows and the labor market tightening, some companies are offering new perks to attract workers. Popular offers include student loan repayment and education-related bonuses that allow workers to upskill, according to The Wall Street Journal. Home Depot has reportedly spent $136 million on tuition reimbursement for its employees in the last 13 years, while Kroger also recently launched a program offering $3,500 in education expenses to employees and the time off to use it.
