I know this is a shock but people say things that aren’t true.
They may be partially true but it’s incomplete information.
They presented is fact and they look for agreement.
Deflect.
Ask questions.
Don’t give away your belief to people who are withholding things from you or may not know.
Your belief in an idea is not something to surrender willy-nilly.
