    The first trick, of course, is getting the interview. Then above all you need the qualifications and experience for the job. That used to mean having the right degree, though these days some recruiters think certifications count more. It’s an unresolved argument. All of the above is meaningless once you reach a certain age. You can have the education, experience, and even own a software company, but once chronology is against you, the phone (or e-mail) no longer rings. Save your money, live within your means, and have a well diversified (and protected) retirement portfolio. You will need it. Someday you too will be too old to work, no matter what you think.

      Sorry you are having headaches AND you haven’t seen anything yet. Now I have videos for those over 50, and interview prepa. Here, though, this is about fear of interviewing. I hope you find some of the others AND one thing I encourage is a side hustle.
