Employer Branding: Do You Know Why They Contact You?
Have you tried video job descriptions yet? It’s a great way to brand your organization. Bring your HR business partner, hiring manager, a member of the team, an overall VP or leader onto a video. Have the manager talk about the job moderated by the HR person. Have the team member talk about what it’s like working in the group. Have the overall area manager or VP speak about whatever they want to talk about so that they get some face time.
You can post this on YouTube. Remember to take it down when the job is filled. You can post it on your Facebook page, on LinkedIn and your LinkedIn page. It creates new distribution channels where you control the message.
