“Do your job.”

“Next man up.”

“It’s gut-check time.”

“Keep your eye on the ball.”

“Take one for the team.”

“They dropped the ball.”

“They always step up to the plate.”

“They talk a good game.”

“They’re a team player.”

“They’re in a league of their own.”

“Just taking it one game at a time.”

“They have their backs against the wall.”

“It is what it is.”

Quotes like these reflect the ability to look back and think about what’s recently happened in the game.

But what about the future? Why can’t we look ahead and prepare?

Winners find the way to win, and losers have excuses.

Find the way to win.
